When a PC is new, it is at its best performance. However, as you start using it, a lot of unwanted information makes its way into the system, and eventually slows it down. The worst effected is the Windows registry. This is because, the registry is the centralized database file in which your Windows operating system stores all hardware and software related configuration information.

Every action, big or small, that you perform on your PC has to go through the registry. If you use a tool to monitor the registry of your Windows PC, you will see that in just a few minutes a large amount of data is added, removed, or modified in the registry.
