How can I fix my computer freezing problem?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: fix computer freeze

Basically, when my net/wireless net is on and connected, whether I'm surfing the net or not…my computer will freeze, and sometimes will take me 4-5 reboots or more before it will reboot enough to be used. Nothing works when this happens, keyboard, mousepad, ctrl alt del, nothing. Nothing had been changed or added or deleted to cause this. This is an emachine laptop. HELP

There are several primary areas that could be causing your computer to freeze. The most likely reason is that Corruption within your registry keys, registry classes, and registry settings.Any time you make a change to any of your computers settings and surfing online, they are stored and updated in the registry.Over time, the registry can grow to enormous proportions and full of junk and errors. So if you run a program,it will take a long time to required registry file and sometime it cant find its registry files since regsitry errors and then it has to sit there. So your computer will freeze.

How do I fix my computer from freezing?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: fix computer freeze

1. I scanned for viruses, spyware, etc. theres none.
2. I did a registry fixer fixed everything.
3. My computer still freezes. what could be the problem?

Sounds as though your computer is over heating. Make sure it is properly ventilated, and check that the fan is still working fine.
Try leaving the case open for a couple of hours to see if that makes a difference. If it does, then buy a better fan.

Hope that helps.

Can a computer freeze because of the peripherals or is there something wrong with the hard drive?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: fix computer freeze

A man who fixes computers says the screen keeps freezing due to a fault in one of the peripherals (monitor/printer/keyboard etc.) but he can't seem to pinpoint the problem or fix it. I only thought that this happened if there was a problem with the hard drive (e.g. virus). What are the main reasons for a computer freezing? Is this man a waste of time?

I'd say it was more to do with your graphics card other than anything else.
