I know my way around computer well, but sometimes i think i overdue it and due some stupid things via installing, downloading, and using software.

You should get yourself an external hard drive, Maxtor, Seagate, Western Digital, Iomega, Verbatim, SimpleTech and others make them and they are available at Best Buy, maybe Target and Wal-Mart, and from on-line stores.

They come with backup software, so you create a good working setup on your computer and make a backup to the external hard drive.

You install some software on your computer that turns out to be bad stuff or just of no interest to you. All you have to do is get the external hard drive and run the software to restore your previous setup.

When I turn on my computer with Windows XP it freezes at start up. I then have to turn it off by the powerpoint and turn it back on to get it working. And when i leave the computer for a few seconds to a few minutes everything freezes up.
